About Our Leadership
In 1985, Mr. Salleem Maymon seized a promising opportunity in the steel industry driven by his entrepreneurial vision. Overcoming humble beginnings and financial obstacles, his sharp business acumen and unrelenting determination led to the founding of Steel House in 1985.
Starting as a modest retail trading company specializing in M.S. Pipes, Steel House rapidly gained momentum under Mr. Salleem Maymon’s astute leadership.
With ambitious goals, exceptional entrepreneurial skills, and remarkable leadership qualities, Mr. Salleem Maymon guided the company through rapid growth, earning widespread respect and establishing a prominent position in a competitive market. He pioneered the introduction of various steel products previously unknown to local consumers.
Salleem Maymon, recognizing the critical importance of succession planning, took a proactive step by involving his son, Sufiyan Memon, in the family business. Together, they established Sufi Structural Tubes Private Limited, a company dedicated to manufacturing customized and locally produced steel products to meet market demands.
As Mr. Sufiyan demonstrated his strong management capabilities, Mr. Salleem began transitioning to a more subdued role within the company. Embracing his newfound freedom, Mr. Salleem chose to focus on his passion for travel, exploring the world while his son steered the business forward. This thoughtful succession planning not only ensured the company’s continued success but also allowed Mr. Salleem to pursue his personal interests.
